2022-23 High School Teach of the Year - Cara Gaddy
Welcome back students! We hope you had a great summer. Make this year, a GREAT year!!
The staff and administration at Pauls Valley High School adhere to the belief that it is our obligation as educators to uphold high expectations for our student body so that our students find the encouragement to rise to greatness. And rise they do!
Pauls Valley High School is known for having students receive the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence Award which in turn makes the student an Oklahoma Academic All-State. There are only 100 chosen state wide each year. Furthermore, in recent years, several of our athletic teams have ranked number one in the state academically. Pauls Valley High School prepares its nearly 300 students, in grades ten through twelve, for their futures with rigorous college-preparatory courses and, if the student so chooses, vocational training at the nearby Mid-America Technology Center. Seventy percent of PVHS’s graduating seniors go on to attend college at universities throughout the state and nation. Moreover, Pauls Valley High School consistently ranks in the top 10 percent in the state with regards to ACT and state tests.
Thus, it is with these purposes ever in mind that the staff and students commit themselves in accordance with our mission statement: Success through Commitment, Loyalty and Pride.
