Pauls Valley Students to Receive a Free 3rd Meal We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new 3rd Meal Program, designed to provide every student with a nutritious and delicious meal during the last hour of the school day. Beginning on the first day of classes (Wednesday, August 14th), students will be served a meal and milk. This program is another step forward in our commitment to ensuring no child goes hungry. Child Nutrition Director Jill Foster has been working on implementing this program for multiple school years. Her hard work and dedication are finally making this program a reality. It's efforts like these that make Pauls Valley Schools "THE place to be." Here's to a great year full of learning and full bellies! The pictures are samples of the 14 meal options. The variety of meals will ensure that students don't get tired of eating the same thing repeatedly.

Love PV has again provided school supplies for all students this school year. What a blessing to our community! Thank you. Love PV! To start the school year, we are asking for donations of copy paper, Kleenex, and paper towels. These items can be brought to enrollment or during the first few days of school. Severe Weather Protocols With the arrival of spring, we wanted to reach out regarding our protocol for severe weather. If our school district determines it is necessary to seek shelter due to a severe thunderstorm or tornado warning, students and staff, including office staff, will take immediate precautions. Therefore, students cannot check out of school because no staff members will be in the front offices or available to accept phone calls. Student safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding.

As a reminder, there is no school tomorrow, Friday, March 15th. Spring break is next week! We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday, March 25th. Until then, make the most of your time off and have a fantastic break!

Tonight, Lu Torres received the Multicultural Bilingual Paraprofessional of the Year award. Pauls Valley Elementary staff attended the banquet and awards ceremony with Lu at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) in Edmond. We are so excited and proud of this achievement. Congratulations Lu!

On Monday, February 12th, Pauls Valley Schools took time during their professional day to honor and recognize the outstanding contributions of their teachers of the year for the 2023-2024 school year. This year's recipients were acknowledged for their unwavering dedication to Pauls Valley Public Schools and their positive impact on their students. The selected teachers who stood out among their peers include: Mrs. Charla Forester - Elementary Teacher of the Year Mrs. Kristine Porter - Intermediate Teacher of the Year Mrs. Sharon Bratcher - Junior High Teacher of the Year Mrs. Marnie Crawford - High School Teacher of the Year A special congratulations to Mrs. Kristine Porter, who was recognized as the Intermediate Teacher of the Year and earned the prestigious title of the District Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Porter, a dedicated 5th-grade science teacher at Pauls Valley Intermediate, has demonstrated exceptional commitment and passion in shaping young minds. We are very proud of our dedicated teachers and staff at Pauls Valley! Congratulations to these individuals for earning Teacher of the Year recognition this school year.

On this special occasion of School Resource Officer Appreciation Day, Pauls Valley Public Schools would like to recognize Officer Thomas of the Pauls Valley Police Department. Officer Thomas has been an invaluable asset to our school community. Her commitment to our students' and staff's safety and well-being is second to none. Her positive impact is felt throughout the hallways of our school buildings. Thank you, Officer Thomas, for your unwavering commitment to the well-being of our students and staff. Friday, February 16, 2024, Pauls Valley High School is having a new sock drive to benefit our local Restored Hearts & Soles organization. This organization provides shoes and socks for needy students. Please help us out by bringing NEW socks to the district basketball game against Duncan. During the halftime of the girls' game, whoever gets their socks into the provided bucket in the center of the court will win a Coke and candy bar from the concession stand. Let’s all help Restored Hearts & Soles with some new socks!

Due to a fiber issue in the area, phone lines are currently down at Pauls Valley Elementary. This issue is also causing wireless internet connection issues at our other sites. We are working with the vendors involved and hope to have the problem corrected as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this process.
