Pauls Valley Elementary has been gifted a Success Bell in Memory of Joe and Leah Kennedy. Joe and Leah are the proud parents of Charlotte Apel and Kristi Herd. Both Charlotte and Kristi are employed in the Pauls Valley Public School System. Joe and Leah enjoyed cheering their daughters and many other students to success. They supported students academically as well as in extracurricular activities including sports, FFA, band, art, and more. They believed in young people and encouraged them to do their best in whatever their interests were. When you hear this bell ring throughout the PVES building, be encouraged that someone has achieved success!
Students can ring the bell for achievements such as meeting their AR goal, passing a test, arriving at school on time, learning their letters and sounds, and more. Throughout history, the ringing of bells has been a celebratory tradition. The Success Bell will help promote unity and establish a culture that celebrates the accomplishments of others at Pauls Valley Elementary.
